ANTIVIRUS AND SPYWARE TOOLS:
1. Enforce antivirus update ensuring most up to date profiles are in use.
2. Schedule antivirus scans delivering alerts for viruses discovered and alerts if scan does not run.
3. Check spyware update status ensuring most up to date profiles are in use.
4. Schedule spyware scans delivering alerts for malware discovered and alerts if scan does not run.
APPLICATION BLOCKING:
• Enforce policies on irrelevant and time consuming applications such as Messenger, Skype and the Google Toolbar by user, allowing you to manage by exception whilst excluding these from the worst offenders.
• Alert to application installation/removal allowing you to see what your users actually do with their machines rather than simply what they choose to tell you.
• Block and monitor network access by individual application and by individual machine, thus ensuring a valid audit trail of application activity including all downloads.
• File Access Protection: This ensures individual files may only be opened by the application in which they are written. Thus files written in, for example MS Word, may not be opened by other applications which in turn means keeps your data secure from Trojans and other malware.
